A-list hairstylist Tara Smith, who has a base in King's Cross, recently launched her natural and organic hair products line along with celebrity friends Rosario Dawson, Natalie Imbruglia, Yasmin Le Bon and many more. LINE OUT FOR VITALISE

World Cup winner and former England captain, Jason Leonard, and former British Lions captain, Phil Bennett, headlined national disability charity Vitalise's annual Legends of Sport Dinner at Cafe Royal on June 10. Vitalise, based in City Road, EC1, is a national charity providing essential services for disabled people, visually impaired people and carers.

STAND UP GET DOWN

A host of celebrities, including Simon Amstell and Stephen Merchant, turned out on June 18 for a star-studded evening at Stand Up Get Down, a comedy and club night hosted by Jessica Hynes. Jessica - star of cult TV hit Spaced and UK movie Son of Rambow - curated and headlined the sold out event with her first ever stand-up performance, all in aid of NCH's Growing Strong campaign. CHANTAL CAYLOR LAUNCH

Chantal Caylor launched her hairdressing business in December of last year, but since then has been so busy building a loyal cliental that she has only just found time to have the launch party. Running her salon from a purpose built studio at the bottom of her beautiful garden, Chantal hosted the party with a fantastic array of canapés and champagne on offer for all the guests. We had a glass or two and toasted this local business with a great future ahead.
